I have about 20 pre-ordered ornaments in the works right now with the plan to have them all mailed by next week. This had led to some intense days. I have been waking up at 4:15 AM to snag a couple hours of embroidery time before mom-day starts. Insane? Yes. Awesome? Yes, that too.
I poured a cup of tea and settled down to work on batch #3 of the babushka dolls with lupines, lavender, and periwinkles dancing in my imagination.
Update! All these babushkas have been claimed! I am working hard to make another 20 ornaments within a week though I’m not sure it’s humanly possible if I still want to do things like feed, dress, bath, change the kids.
